Their beautiful jacquard fabrics are designed in house, and all their bags are cut and sewn by hand. Maruca Design embraces the principles of the Arts & Crafts Movement in America. They believe that creating small production runs of a given craft or product, within a cottage industry setting, creates a consciousness that humanizes and enriches their work. This vision, results in an aesthetic, that moves from hand to heart, to mind. As they design and produce their handbags, they strive for integrity and high quality.

Christina Roselle started sewing at the age of ten. Soon after, she knew designing was going to be her passion. She worked with Pierre Cardin and Calvin Klein, and then decided to strike out on her own. The result being this beautiful line of hand made handbags.
