Contemporary lighting by Kinzig Design offers table lamps and floor lamps. These lamps incorporate highly designed, proprietary elements. Each lamp has vibrant hand-blown glass with brass and copper elements. These elements will never chip or discolor. The glass is blown to Kinzigs' color and shape specifications by two well-regarded glass studios.

Richly colored shades are sewn from embroidered silks and other elegant fabrics. Each lamp is topped with their own distinctive finials, enhancing these uniquely crafted pieces.

Kinzig Design offers contemporary or traditional lighting with a twist. These table lamps and floor lamps that will endure the test of time to become the heirlooms of tomorrow.

Kinzig Design:
Susan Kinzig can be found designing in her studio in San Francisco with her dog Mia. She received her BFA from Kent State University and worked for 7 years as a graphic designer. Combining her knowledge of design with her mechanical ability she began a career as a jewelry designer. Over the last 20 years, Susan has been able to create a successful three-dimensional line that has become her artistic signature. Kinzig Design Home: Building upon her knowledge of metalwork and design, Susan expanded her creative outlook to include lighting. She teamed up with her sister-in-law, Caryn Kinzig, to form Kinzig Design Home. They called upon other artists to blow colorful glass for the lamps. While Susie produces lamps in California, Caryn works on shades in Philadelphia. Caryn received a BA from Brandeis University and an MBA from the Wharton School. After a successful 20 year investment career, Caryn left the corporate world to follow her creative passion and to work with a great partner.
