| Susan Kinzig creates jewelry, bracelets, earrings, necklaces, and pins that are adorned with pearls, semi-precious stones and mosaic inlays which are created from patinated brass and copper. The discovery of new techniques and materials has always been a constant in her work. She is particularly attracted to oxidized metals and the warm, rich colors and surface textures that can be obtained through controlled processes and accidental circumstances. The base metal is sterling silver blackened to a deep gray with the edges sanded back to silver. |
