Lifebridge
Foundation Presents a special installation of Artist Lifebridge Sanctuary at 333 Mountain Road, Rosendale, NY 12472. The installation will hang through November 13, 2007. It will only be available to the guests of the Lifebridge Sanctuary conference and retreat center, or by limited appointments, made with the foundation's Director of Operations, Kevin Kraft, at 845.338.6418. DIRECTIONS
TO: Lifebridge knows the artist's journey is as unique and individual as every brush stroke it takes to make a painting. That’s why they are especially pleased to present Lila Bacon’s installation of paintings – “For the Love of Flowers”. “You see and feel the wisdom and beauty in every stroke on Bacon’s canvases . I believe its obvious that Lila allows herself to be taken over by the process of creation.” – Says Kevin Kraft Director of Operations of the Lifebridge Foundation. He believes the maturation of an artist's technique and perspective is pure magic; a gift to be treasured and shared. Bacon’s work is effusive of beauty, wisdom and heart and is exactly why the Foundation has selected her work for this special installation. Since 1992, the Lifebridge Foundation has been promoting the concept of the interconnectedness of all life and one humanity by providing grant support to more than 200 non-profit organizations. On September 1, 2005, Lifebridge Foundation opened the Lifebridge Sanctuary, a 12,000 square foot, green facility on 95 acres of forest on the Northern crest of the Shawangunk Ridge. The Sanctuary’s mission is to serve a wide variety of organizations by offering an affordable venue to stimulate cutting edge and forward looking conversations in an atmosphere of deep beauty, privacy and quiet; an environment that can help evoke the inspired ideas and actions that will change the world. The opening of the Lifebridge gallery is the Foundation’s latest effort to showcase artists who promote the concept of the interconnectedness of all life and one humanity in their work. CONTACT:

ARTIST STATEMENT

is the act of working that I truly am in love with, rather than the
product. I find the ego involved judgments that I make outside of the
creating, only tend to get in my way, whether it is to like or dislike
the final product".
