Grant-Noren, Faux Painted Wood Mirrors Contemporary Art Furniture and Accessories in Hand Painted and Lacquered Wood. The artworks by Ingela Noren and Daniel Grant are hand painted on wood. As taught by an old master in Stockholm, they first apply an under layer of sealing stain or paint. They then mix pigment with a milk-based glaze and apply it using brushes, combs, sponges, fists and fingers! At the end a final varnish is applied to protect the work and create a lovely finish.
