Robert Sherman's rustic furniture and wall art is hand crafted from reclaimed barn wood, some of which dates back to the 1820s. Each piece is unique and hand picked to ensure quality and beauty. By using reclaimed wood, he gives his customers a piece of history that is environmentally conscious and eco-friendly. No synthetic finishing materials are ever used. All his furniture is hand rubbed and finished with butchers wax. He stays as true as possible to original farm furniture designs of the time, that lend themselves to both country and city settings.

Robert has been working with wood for over 30 years, deeply appreciating its texture and smell. He has loved furniture from the 17th and 18th centuries for its utility and simplicity. Antique wood, with its wonderful possibilities, is the inspiration for the furniture he now creates.
