About Janna Ugone individually hand painted ceramic shaded table lamps offer a unique depth of surface, achieved through a rich layering of glazed and fired surfaces. All lampshades are pierced with constellation patterns and some are accented with pewter and individually painted buttons, when noted. All pewter hardware: collars, bobeches ( a special sculptural detail on the lamp stem), pulls and finials are custom designed by Janna Ugone. Their custom mined 6" marble and 6" square slate bases are offered in Terra Cotta, green or charcoal. Janna has creatively selected the base colors, finials and decorative pull charms to complement the shade graphic pattern. Each ceramic base is double cast for substantial weight and integrity and hallmarked for the discerning collector. Each piece is signed and dated.
