Gartner Blade Art Glass, Stephen Gartner and Danielle Blade, Artisan-Crafted Handblown Glass

Business partners since1996, Stephen and Danielle work together combining their ideas and techniques. The results are exquisite works of art including functional lamps, pendant lighting, and vases. The inspiration for their work comes from both primitive and contemporary cultures. Elements in their glass often resemble natural objects like bones, wood, leaves, and vines.
Each Stata series piece starts with a rich opaque color, over which a design resembling that of marble or rock strata is inlaid. It is finished with a bright gold accent on the lip.
Each Opal series piece begins with either a white or black base and then it is layered over with their favorite colors. A gold rim accent is placed on the lip.
