Due to the nature of handcrafted work, subtle variations are natural.

Larch Wood Canada specializes in creating beautiful ‘end grain’ cutting boards, handmade from eastern Canadian larch (Larix laricina). Also known locally as tamarack and juniper, Larch Wood gets this renewable resource from sustainably managed local woodlots.

The board has been treated with food-grade mineral oil and a wax finish coat. The wax should be reapplied periodically depending on usage.

The bold grain patterning and the natural coloring of the larch, along with its renowned durability, was the initial inspiration for handcrafting these cutting boards.
